Ho Chi Minh City’s Fledging Craft Beer Scene, TV News Package

In Ho Chi Minh City, craft beers are quickly staking their claim in the market. Across the city craft beer bars are actively promoting their variety of locally brewed of ales, wheat beers and IPAs as a tastier – and classier – alternative the market-dominating pilsners. Though the craft beers are often notably more expensive than their mass-produced counterparts (often more than two or three times the price) the rapidly growing industry reflects an increasing willingness in urban Vietnamese to seek out and pay more for higher quality.

This TV news package originally aired on ViuTV, Hong Kong, in March, 2017.
